Is the PC version worth bothering for single player?

Well, I've been through it twice already and I'm about to go through it again, so I'd say yeah. But I love shooters, well most of them. TF2 can get bent.

If you liked the last one, I'd say you'd very likely enjoy this one. The only complaint I've heard from anybody is that it's short.

And the "moral" campaign IMO's a sick joke and should never have shipped w/ the game. I just stare @ the ceiling until they move into the 2nd phase of that level.

However, I do think I may have enjoyed COD4 a bit more. There's too much talking and hand holding in this one. It's still great, but COD4 IMO kicked more ass.

I think I'd have to agree with Jod.  You do have the option to skip the "moral" level, but they give no indication of what you're about to do, so it's like "do you want to skip this next part or not?" and of course you don't want to miss something important.  I too just walked around and waited for the police to start shooting me.  Just another attempt to create controversy to drum up publicity.

COD4 single player was loads of fun, even though I only played through it once.  I have fond memories of the sniper level and how tense a few places were (bad dudes walking right next to you).  50 cal'ing the main boss while compensating for wind and gravity was so awesome.

MW2 single player was a lot of fun, but not as good as COD4.

Yeah, going prone In the field while an army went by and the sniper level put cod4 in a class above its sequel.

I agree with everybody about CoD4 being better, but I still recommend MW2.
